Kevin Bigger

Kevin Bigger, ERYT-200, started practicing in his late teens, immediately after a period of massive (less than healthy) weight loss, and just before he (finally and begrudgingly) came out of the closet. During the struggle to adapt to a new physical and emotional reality, yoga provided a pathway to organize the chaos. Over the past decade of study, the practice has continued to be his saving grace.

Kevin completed his RYT-200 Training with Boston's Radiant Yoga School (Chanel Luck and Bonnie Argo). In New York, he has been whipped into proper shape by Schuyler Grant and all of the rad teachers at Kula Yoga Project and is currently studying with Nikki Costello. He teaches with the hope that his offering affords students the same healing opportunities he's received from his teachers

Amanda Winkler

Amanda Winkler, ERYT-200 is a NYC based yoga teacher, whose style is greatly influenced by her personal experience with yoga as a tool for self discovery, personal growth, and empowerment. As she found strength in movement, her fascination with the human body led her to study yoga anatomy extensively, and to become a certified Yoga Tune Up ® teacher under the tutelage of international movement specialist and renowned yoga teacher, Jill Miller. Amanda teaches Vinyasa, Aerial Vinyasa, and Yoga Tune Up® at Om Factory, and crafts her classes with the scientific and intellectual, as well as spiritual components of yoga in mind. She believes in teaching yoga to the individual, and that any movement can be therapeutic and balancing to the body if approached from a lens of tailoring the practice to the person. In a playful and creative manner, Amanda will encourage you to embody movement on a deeply somatic level, to push your own boundaries, and to revel in your experience.
