Mama Yoga: Prenatal Series with Doreen Kramer

Honoring yoga as a highly recommended form of exercise during pregnancy, this 8-week series is designed to give prenatal students the tools and resources for reducing aches and pains and enhancing every aspect (mind, body, and heart) of their well-being. Classes are composed of a unique blend of intelligent warm-ups, well aligned flowing sequences, and longer held strengthening and restorative poses that greatly benefit the ever-transforming pregnant body. Guided breathing, quality hands-on adjustments and touch are incorporated for promoting greater ease and relaxation. Beginners and seasoned practitioners alike can expect to be challenged and nurtured.

About the Instructor:

Doreen Kramer is a Certified Forrest Yoga Teacher, Ma Yoga Teacher and DONA International Trained Doula. Her approach braids together a life-long study of various movement forms and human anatomy, with a fascination of the science of emotion, and trust of intuitive touch and energetic healing. Her speciality focus on prenatal yoga and birth assistance stems from a personal and professional interest to serve and learn from the infinite wisdom of the female body. She is inspired to witness and partner with people as they discover their unique strengths to overcome challenges, embrace wholeness, and live with integrity--on and off the mat.
