Time: 6:30-8:30pm Price: $25

Many forms of Indian dance are an offspring of yoga and use the same principles of alignment and breathing as those we use in Yoga Asana. When practiced in a sequence along with music, these movements create optimal flow of energy in the body leaving dancers inspired and energized. This workshop explores the elements of yoga in dance while maintaining the vibrancy known in Indian Dance. Dancers will have the chance to experience the wide range of movements from India. The first half of the workshop will teach modern interpretations of Indian Classical Dance sequences fused with Yoga Asana. And the second half will focus on the concept of freedom and community in Indian dance.

All levels of Yoga Practitioners are Welcome.
