This foundations playshop welcomes anyone who likes to play, fly, and jam with their bodies in a safe, joyful, athletic discipline. AcroYoga unites the disciplines of Yoga, Acrobatics and Thai Massage in a wonderful fusion. In this playshop, we will enjoy circle flow, partner asana, partner drills for strength, tightness, and inversions, partner acrobatics, and basic flying flows, followed by partner Thai Massage. Bring your playful, physical, inner child. This playshop is designed especially to entice our Buddha Extreme B-Boys and B-Girls to join in the fun art of AcroYoga.

Excellent for those reviewing their basics as well, or just looking for a sweet 'n sweaty good time! No previous experience or partner necessary... yoga, dance or sports backgrounds are helpful, but not required.

About the Instructor:

Mary Aranas lives in New York City with her family, and has taught Yoga full-time since 2002, including retreats, classes, and workshops for studios throughout the city. Mary has been teaching AcroYoga since 2008, and has been an integral member of the AcroYoga teacher's community. In April, she was inspired to take a Buddha eXtreme class with Ari and crew, and is delighted to offer this workshop to invite them as well as all newcomers to the love, light, and flight of AcroYoga.
